Chandigarh, 22 July 2026 - Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, witnessed the Interact and Early Act Club Investiture Ceremony for the session 2026-27. The occasion marked induction of the young leaders who proudly stepped forward to take over their roles to serve and create a lasting impact.

Ms. Teena Avninder Virk, President, Rotary Club Chandigarh, District 3080, presided over the event as the Chief Guest. Other honourable dignitaries including Shri R.K. Saboo, former Rotary International President, Shri Madhukar Malhotra, Honorary Secretary, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chandigarh Kendra, Ms. Vineeta Arora, Director (Edu) cum Sr. Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh, Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Principal, New Chandigarh Branch, Ms. Kunika Sharma, Principal Junior School, Ms. Suparna Bansal, Vice-Principal, Chandigarh and the distinguished Rotarians graced the occasion.

The event began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a soulful prayer seeking blessings. The school choir then presented motivational songs that reflected dedication, determination, and resolve. A captivating classical dance and a power-packed Bhangra performance enthralled the audience. Head Boy Ishan Goel, class XII-A1 presented the Annual Report for 2025–26 on behalf of outgoing President Shreya Kodan, highlighting key service initiatives, community outreach programs, and achievements of the Interact & Early Act Club. The report showcased the club’s commitment to compassion, discipline, and social responsibility. The ceremony also witnessed the installation of new office-bearers: newly elected President Pratibha, class XII-C1 introduced her team as the chief guest conferred badges, marking the start of their journey as enthusiastic Young Rotarians.

Addressing the gathering, Ms. Teena Avninder Virk emphasised the importance of youth leadership, ethical values, and community service. She encouraged the new office bearers to uphold the Rotary theme- ‘Create Lasting Impact’, by leading with sincerity, empathy and integrity.

Mrs. Vineeta Arora congratulated the newly elected team and motivated them to build upon the Interact Club's proud legacy and strive to create a lasting impression through meaningful service and exemplary leadership. The program concluded on a patriotic note with the rendition of the National Anthem.
