Rahul Gandhi should raise his issues inside Parliament; the Prime Minister's residence is a high-security zone, who will be responsible if any untoward incident occurs?: Anil Vij
Chandigarh, July 22 – Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij strongly objected to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's reported sit-in protest outside the Prime Minister's residence, saying that "A case should be registered against Rahul Gandhi for compromising the security of the Prime Minister."
Interacting with mediapersons today, Vij said that such an act cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. He said that if Rahul Gandhi wishes to raise any issue, he should do so inside Parliament, adding that no one is preventing him from speaking there. However, he said that the Prime Minister's residence is a high-security zone, and staging a protest outside it could pose serious security concerns. "An undesirable person could infiltrate the area, or any untoward incident could take place. In such a situation, who would be held responsible?" he asked. Rahul Gandhi should not be spared and that a case should be registered against him for compromising the Prime Minister's security, Vij asserted.
