Chandigarh, May 5:-The Joint Commissioner, MC Chandigarh today convened a comprehensive review meeting to assess preparedness and execution strategy for the upcoming Census Survey 2026. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Inder Jeet, Charge Officer-VI-cum-Joint Commissioner-II, and attended by supervisors of Ward Nos. 04, 05, and 06.

During the meeting, supervisors highlighted various on-ground challenges and operational issues being faced during the preparatory phase of the survey. Taking serious note, Dr. Inder Jeet assured that the technical support team will remain readily available to provide prompt assistance and resolve field-level difficulties.

Emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts, he advised supervisors to maintain close liaison with respective area councillors to ensure quick redressal of issues and smooth execution of the survey. He underlined that strong inter-departmental coordination and proactive communication are key to achieving accurate and reliable data collection.
