Chief Minister expresses grief over loss of four lives in Kullu accident
SHIMLA-02 May, 2026-Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the loss of four precious lives in a tragic accident that occurred in the Ani area of Kullu district today.
The mishap took place when a tree suddenly fell on a vehicle carrying seven persons, which was on its way towards Ani. Four persons lost their lives on the spot, while the injured have been rushed to the medical facility for treatment.
The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for peace of the departed souls. He also wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the accident.
Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed the district administration to provide all possible assistance to the affected families and ensure the best possible medical care to the injured.

He said the incident is very heartbreaking and has brought great sorrow to the whole community. He expressed condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for peace of departed souls.
