Chandigarh, April 22:- In view of the upcoming monsoon season, MC Chief Engineer Sh. Sanjay Arora, along with Area Councillor Smt. Prem Lata and concerned officials of the Municipal Corporation, conducted an on-site inspection of ongoing road cut and restoration works in the city.

The inspection covered key locations including V6 roads in BBMB Colony, Sector 35-B, and V6 roads in Sector 34-C. During the visit, the Chief Engineer reviewed the progress, quality, and pace of the ongoing restoration works and issued necessary directions to the officials.

Emphasizing timely completion, Chief Engineer Sanjay Arora directed that all road cut repairs and restoration works must be completed well before the onset of the monsoon. He cautioned that any delay could lead to inconvenience for residents and may result in waterlogging issues during the rainy season.

Area Councillor Prem Lata also raised concerns of local residents and urged officials to maintain high standards of workmanship while strictly adhering to the prescribed timelines.

The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh remains committed to strengthening urban infrastructure and ensuring smooth and safe road conditions for citizens, particularly during the monsoon season.
