A Case FIR No. 27 U/S 103(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Mahesh Kumar R/o Jhuggi Near # 2161 Sector-35, Chandigarh against Viney Kumar R/o Burail chandigarh who murder of complainant daughter by stabbing her with knife at fragrance garden Sector-36, Chandigarh on 22-02-2026.During the investigation accused person arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Public Drinking

Chandigarh Police arrested Arvind R/O # 357, Indira Colony Sector-17, Panchkula Haryana from near Ps-Mauli Jagran Chowk on 23-02-2026 while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No. 44 U/S 68(1)B PP Act. & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh accused person later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Quarrel

A Case FIR No. 33 U/S 190, 191(1), 191(2), 191(3), 118(1), 126(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector- 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Lalit R/o # 114, Village Faidan Nizampur, Chandigarh against Sachin @ Ghora, Ajay and 10-12 other unknown person all attacked on complainant and his friend near Iron Bridge in village Faidan Nizampur Chandigarh on 22-02-2026, victim sustained injuries and admitted to hospital. During the investigation, accused person Sachin was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 45 U/S 125(A), 281 BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on the complaint of Gupteshwar Singh R/o # 1869, Vikas Nagar Mauli Jagran Chandigarh against driver of motor cycle no. CH-01CX-9617 who sped away after hitting the complainant's granddaughter near his house on 20-02-2026 Victim sustained injuries got admitted to PGI Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
