CHANDIGARH, 07.01.26-A joint meeting of the office bearers of Jai Madhusudan Jai Shri Krishna Foundation and the Progressive Indian Research and Development Association (PIRADA) was held at the Finesse Institute, Sector 34, Chandigarh. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the decision to work together for the protection and promotion of the environment.

The MoU was jointly signed by environmental activist and Director of JMJS Foundation, Prabhunath Shahi, and President of PIRADA, Dr. Ritu Sharma. On this occasion, both pledged to work with renewed energy in the interest of public welfare.

Dr. Ritu Sharma stated that it was agreed to work jointly with the foundation to create awareness on climate change, environmental conservation, and drug de-addiction in the Tricity (Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula) as well as in Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.

Environmental activist Prabhunath Shahi added that both organizations will work together with special focus on energy conservation, water conservation, reduction of carbon emissions, and ensuring 100% success in plantation drives.
