Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Inaugurate Haryana Pavillion at Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra on November 24
Chandigarh, November 22 – Several eminent personalities from across the country are participating in the ongoing International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Union Defence Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the Haryana Pavilion prepared for the International Gita Mahotsav on November 24. The next day, on November 25, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will arrive to participate in the Maha Aarti. Public participation in the International Gita Mahotsav is increasing, and this time, it is expected that more than 70 lakh people will visit the festival.
A government spokesperson informed that the International Gita Mahotsav has been underway in Kurukshetra since November 15. With the cooperation of the Ministry of External Affairs, Gita Mahotsav celebrations are being organized in 50 countries. This time, Madhya Pradesh has been included as the partner state.
He informed that on November 24, a three-day International Gita Seminar will be inaugurated at Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Sadan, Kurukshetra University. To make the festival grand and memorable, the entire city is being decorated with lights. A massive cleanliness drive is also being carried out across the city.
He further informed that on November 25, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will participate in a ceremony organized at Jyotisar on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. A huge pandal has been set up over 155 acres in Jyotisar. It is expected that around one and a half lakh devotees from across the state will attend the event. Every major intersection in Kurukshetra is being developed based on the theme of Mahabharata. Work is also underway to illuminate all the temples of the city with decorative lights.

Gaurav Gautam Inaugurates Road Construction Works Worth Rs 2.25 Crore in Palwal
Chandigarh, November 22 – Haryana’s Minister of State for Sports, Youth Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Sh. Gaurav Gautam today formally inaugurated the construction work of all roads in the Radheyshyam Colony area of Palwal.
On this occasion, the Sports Minister said these roads will be built by the Municipal Council at a cost of approximately Rs 2.25 crore.
He said the State Government is committed to providing basic facilities to the people. Good roads are the foundation of development in any region, and once this construction work is completed, commute in Radheyshyam Colony and surrounding areas will become smoother.
The Sports Minister said continuous efforts are being made to make Palwal clean and beautiful. Work is being done so that no street, neighbourhood, or colony has an unpaved road and all are properly constructed. The government is continuously working on the principle of “Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas.” During the first year of the government, development works worth crores of rupees were carried out in the Palwal Assembly constituency, primarily focusing on roads. To ensure that people do not face inconvenience in commuting, the government prioritized the improvement of roads.
He said in the coming times, continuous efforts will be made to develop Palwal further, promote youth in sports, and develop stadiums, metro connectivity, and a medical college, which will give Palwal a new identity on a different platform.
On this occasion, Sh. Yash Pal, Chairman of Municipal Council Palwal, along with officers from various departments and other dignitaries were present.

It is noteworthy that a grand state-level event will be organized in Kurukshetra to mark this historic occasion. Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi, is scheduled to grace the event with his esteemed presence, making the occasion even more significant. During the programme, the ideals of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, his supreme sacrifice, and his guidance in fostering social harmony will be especially commemorated.
