Jalandhar14.10.25-; The School of Liberal & Creative Arts at Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized a two-week National Stone Carving Camp, a vibrant initiative dedicated to the enduring legacy of Indian stone art. The camp served as a dynamic platform where heritage meets experimentation, the camp serves as a living tribute to the country’s enduring legacy of stone craftsmanship while nurturing new artistic voices.

The event featured renowned artists from across India, including Mandeep Singh, Tarvinder Singh, Vishal, Simran Singh Sekha, Vikas Pratap Singh, Dharam Netam, Narender Dewangan, Manisha, and Renu Bala. These master craftspeople provided Bachelor's and Master's Fine Arts students with rare, hands-on training.

Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor of LPU, felicitated the participating artists and students and appreciated their dedication to reviving and reimagining classical art forms. Dr. Mittal remarked, “Such initiatives embody the spirit of learning that is lived rather than taught. Witnessing the synergy between seasoned artists and our students transforming raw stone into profound expressions of art is a truly visionary step towards a more creatively enriched society and youth.”
