One person arrested in NDPS Act
Chandigarh Police arrested Sahil @ Putti R/o # Jhuggi No. 56, Bardana Market Sector-26, Chandigarh near Butterfly Park, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 08 10-2025 and recovered 12 gram Heroin from his possession. A Case Fir No. 104 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Three persons arrested in Theft case
A Case FIR No. 155 U/S 305 & Added 317(1), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ayush Shukla R/o # 3278, Sector-15/D, Chandigarh against Unknown person who stole away complainant’s Laptop, I-Phone, Laptop Bag and cash Rs 6500/- from his house on 08-10-2025. During the investigation, DCC of Chandigarh police arrested three accused persons namely Rashid R/o # 24/A, gali no. 6-a, Biharpura,North East Delhi, Mohmad Sajid R/o Mohalla Lug, Manpura, Kiratpur Bijnor (UP) and Shmoil R/o # 40, Ragdan, Kiratpur Bijnor (UP). Investigation of this case is in progress.
Accident
A Case FIR No. 192 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Jitender Singh Rana R/o # 62, Dasmesh Nagar, Zirakpur, (Punjab) against Bharat Singh R/o # 142, Vill- Bharakhan Distt- Sirsa (Haryana) , driver of haryana roadways bus no. HR-39E-3568 which hit the complainant wife who was on activa no. CH-01BF-5649 near Hallo Majra Light Point on 08-10-2025.Complanant wife got injured and admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. During the investigation, the accused person was arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
A Case FIR No.153 U/S 281, 125 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # Rajdhani Enclave, Sector -126, Kharar (Punjab) against lady R/o # Suncity Sector-30, Panchkula (Haryana) driver of honda city car no. PB-31U-6109 which hit the complainant’s activa no. PB-65AX-9505 near beatbox, Sector-16/A Chandigarh on 21-09-2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.
