MAHENDERGARH, 03.09.25-The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, through its School of Humanities and Social Sciences, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (NaMo Centre) on Tuesday in the presence of eminent dignitaries and officials. The ceremony was graced by Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Former Governor of Assam, as the Guest of Honour.

Prof. Jagdish Mukhi emphasized the importance of the MoU in promoting research, innovation, and cultural exchange, stating that both institutions must work together to train and inspire youth to contribute to nation-building. He remarked that the agreement will prove to be a significant step in this direction.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor said that the MoU would open new avenues in teaching and development, aligning with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. He added that the partnership would promote joint research projects, faculty-student exchanges, and resource sharing, ultimately leading to skill-based programs and new employment opportunities. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar further said that the agreement would also encourage the organization of joint seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman, Centre for Narendra Modi Studies, stated that the Centre is working with the vision of “Nation First.” The NaMo Centre is committed to promoting academic research and policy-oriented thinking that support nation-building and the idea of a developed India. Prof. Jasim described the dialogue with CUH as meaningful and visionary, adding that this collaboration will create impactful academic opportunities. On the occasion Prof. Payal Kanwar Chandel, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar were also present.
