MAHENDERGARH,02.09.25-The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, in collaboration with the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (NAMO), successfully organised a National Youth Seminar on the theme “Youth Power in Nation-Building: Opportunities and Responsibilities.”
The seminar was graced by Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Former Governor of Assam, as the Chief Guest; Mr. Firoz Bakht Ahmed, Former Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, as the Distinguished Guest; and Dr. Javed Rahmani, CEO of Journalism Today Group, along with Prof. Divya Tanwar as Guests of Honour. Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairperson of NAMO, attended as Special Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi highlighted the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future of India, emphasizing their responsibility in education, entrepreneurship, innovation, and national development. He urged young minds to stand firmly with truth and drew inspiration from the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor thanked the dignitaries for their presence and inspired students to contribute proactively towards building a self-reliant and developed India.
Other distinguished speakers, Mr. Firoz Bakht Ahmed, Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Dr. Javed Rahmani, and Prof. Divya Tanwar, encouraged students to embrace hard work, innovation, ethical values, and responsible use of technology.
The seminar began with a welcome address and programme outline by Prof. Payal Kanwar Chandel, Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar; Prof. Dinesh Chahal; Prof. Renu Yadav; Prof. Tanu Gupta were also present with a large number of faculty members, researchers, and students on this occasion.
