Fundamental Right regarding Teaching students about the voting process and the value of elections not only encourages them to make their voices heard but also inspires them to become engaged citizens later in life. With this aim, Ashiana Public School, Sector 46-A, Chandigarh held an array of events and activities to sensitize the young minds regarding right to vote - an important right as democratic citizens of the country. In a series of events which were organized by the school, staff members pledged to vote and fulfil their responsibilities as democratic citizens.

In addition to this, a special assembly was organized to update the students regarding importance of casting your vote. Special attraction among the activities was an interesting ‘Nukkad Natak’ prepared by the students to bring awareness regarding the importance of voting for each citizen of the country. The skills and talents of the students were highly appreciable.

On the occasion, the Director, Mrs. Lalita Prakash, spoke to the children about the importance of voting and explained to them how each vote plays an important role in the selection of the government.
