Chandigarh, 02.05.24- : The Desh Bhagat University (DBU) witnessed a showcase of talent and skill as students celebrated the second day of the Youth Festival. The event was brimming with enthusiasm and excitement as students displayed their unique performances in dance, music, and art. The festival featured performances by Punjabi music stars Kabir Sandhu and Dilpreet Dhillon, entertaining the students with their hit songs. The overall winner of the Youth Fest was the Computer Science & Applications (CSA) team. Additionally, the CSA department stood out for delivering the Maximum outstanding performances. The chief guests for today's Youth Fest were Bal Mukand Sharma, Chairman of the Punjab State Food Commission, and Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of DBU. Special guests included Kulvinder Singh Dhahan, Chairman of the Guru Nanak Mission Hospital and Education Trust, Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor of DBU, and Dr. Sandeep Singh, President. Also present were Dr. Virinder Singh, Advisor to the Chancellor, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-President, Prof. Sudip Mukherjee, Registrar, RJ Sangamitra, Dr. Surjit Kaur Patheja, Dr. Arashdeep Singh, and the esteemed faculty of DBU.

Bal Mukand Sharma commended the students for their performances at the Youth Fest. He also praised the notable achievements in the field of education by Desh Bhagat University.

Dr. Zora Singh congratulated all the students for their excellent performances. The event provided students with an opportunity to connect and understand their capabilities. It was an engaging and educational event, playing a significant role in the personality development of students.

Kabir Sandhu and Dilpreet Dhillon mesmerized the audience with their hit songs like "Sharif," "Shining Coca," and "Jatt Te Jawani." The Youth Fest featured competitions in various dance forms including Rajasthani dance, Giddha-Bhangra, group and solo performances, singing, Western dance, Gatkha, Jindua, Natti, ramp walk, Bollywood dance, dramas, and Haryanvi dance-offs. Trophies were awarded to the winners by the chief guest.
