CHANDIGARH,18.04.24-Chandigarh Police have achieved a great success by nabbing accused accused namely Amit Gupta S/o Lt. Sh. Tara Chand Gupta R/o H.No 2193/33 Pipli Wala Town Mani Majra Chandigarh age 47 years and recovered 14 Gram Heroin without any permit, in this connection FIR has been registered accordingly.
Brief Facts of cases:-
In this regard case FIR No. 48 dated 17.04.2024 U/S 21 NDPS Act PS MM Chandigarh. has been registered Under the supervision of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur SSP UT, Sh. Mridul SP City, Sh. Abhinandan P. SDPO/North East and under the leadership of Insp. Ram Dayal, SHO/PS Manimajra, On 17.04.2024 at about 8.15 PM SI Mehar Chand 1559/CHG PS MM, Chd, while he along with police party while performing the patrolling duty in the area of PS-MM and reached near Sports complex gate, Manimajra, Chd, in the mean time one person is coming from Indra colony Mani Majra, when he saw the police party in front of him, he turned back and started moving fast. Then SI Mehar Chand 1559/CHG caught him with the help of other official on the basis of suspicious and recovered 14 gram Heroin from his possession. He fails to produce any license or permit on the spot. The person disclosed his name as Amit Gupta S/o Lt. Sh. Tara Chand Gupta R/o H.No 2193/33 Pipli Wala Town Mani Majra Chandigarh age 47 years.
