Jalandhar26.02.26-; Lovely Professional University’s 18th Annual Inter-School Youth Festival, Spectra 2026, emerged as a dynamic confluence of creativity, conscience, and change, embodying the spirit of EduRevolution. More than a cultural celebration, this year’s edition evolved into a purposeful movement aligned with India’s transformative educational vision and the aspirations of a new generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders.
Bringing together thousands of students, Spectra 2026 featured over 30+ competitions spanning music, dance, theatre, literary arts, visual arts, media, and fashion. From classical and western vocal performances to instrumental showcases, semi classical and western group dances, skits, mime, nukkad natak, poster making, clay modelling, cartooning, short film production, and the much anticipated Spectra Runway Fashion Show, the campus resonated with artistic excellence and youthful energy.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, along with Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro Chancellor of LPU, felicitated the champions. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mittal stated, “In the 21st century, education must transcend the boundaries of classrooms and curricula, and at LPU, we live by this philosophy every day. True learning flourishes when creativity converges with critical thinking, when expression is guided by responsibility, and when young minds are empowered to question, collaborate, and innovate.”
Adding further excitement to the celebrations, renowned Punjabi actor singer Gippy Grewal and acclaimed actress singer Nimrat Khaira visited the campus to promote their upcoming film Viyah Kartare Da.
