Mahendragarh, 22.04.24-Department of Psychology, Central University of Haryana (CUH) Mahendragarh organised an expert guidance program for the preparation of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in collaboration with Aifer Education Pvt. Ltd. Kerala. This program was inaugurated by the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sushma Yadav. Prof. Sushma Yadav said that UGC NET examination is the main examination of India, which provides necessary qualifications to teachers and students for research in colleges and universities.
Prof. Payal Chandel, HoD, Department of Psychology said that while preparing for any competitive exam one has to face a lot of problems and our happiness during the entire process is very important. Keynote speaker at the event, Anees Poovati, who has cleared NET exam in eight subjects and JRF exam in two subjects, said that knowing the UGC NET exam pattern and syllabus is very important in order to crack the exam. He told that understanding of the subject and proper guidance helps effectively in competitive examinations.
The coordinator of this program and head of the psychology department, Prof. Payal Chandel and other faculty members Prof. V.N. Yadav, Dr. Pradeep Kumar and Dr. Ravi Pandey, University alumni Arshina Riaz played important roles in the event. More than 200 students from various departments of the University participated in the event. Arshina Riaz contributed an amount of eleven thousand rupees to the alumni fund on behalf of Aifer Foundation.
