Justice Lisa Gill is the daughter of Justice Harphul Singh Brar ( Retd), who was Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh from March 15, 1991 to July 29, 1999.

Speaking on the achievement, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, stated, “This recognition marks an important moment in LPU’s academic journey and reflects the clarity of direction with which the university is evolving."

In his message on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, emphasized that alternative dispute resolution mechanisms like arbitration are not merely procedural alternatives but represent the future of commercial justice in India.
