Dr. Neena Sharma, Principal, MCM DAV College for Women, appreciated the dedicated efforts of the NSS volunteers and congratulated them on the successful conduct of the activities.

Speaking on the occasion, Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor, LPU, highlighted the importance of building sustained partnerships between universities and industry to ensure that academic learning remained closely connected with the requirements of a rapidly changing technology sector.

Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma commended the organising teams for their efforts and encouraged students and staff to develop a deeper understanding of the linkages between ozone protection, climate action and sustainable living.

*The programme was graced by Prof. Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar, Panjab University, as the Chief Guest. *Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma said that such academic initiatives provide students and researchers with valuable opportunities to engage with contemporary developments in their respective disciplines.

Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma appreciated the initiative for providing students with meaningful global exposure and practical perspectives on learning.

Event was attended along with the Hon’ble MLA(Bally) Sanjay Kr. Singh Ji and The Hon’ble Minister of State for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Umesh Rai Ji.

पर्यावरण सेवक प्रभु नाथ शाही, पर्यावरणविद् एवं भारतीय वायु सेना के पूर्व फ्लाइट इंजीनियर को भी पर्यावरण जागरूकता एवं संरक्षण के क्षेत्र में उनके महत्वपूर्ण योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया।

The initiative was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Ajay Sharma, Principal, GGDSD College, and Dr. Tarundeep Kaur, Head of the Aesthesia Club, whose encouragement and support contributed to its success.
