कार्यवाहक प्राचार्या श्रीमती नीना शर्मा ने भाषा के शाश्वत महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा— “एक दिन किसी भाषा को मनाने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं है। इंसान चाहे कितना भी आधुनिक क्यों न हो जाए, चिंतन मनन हमेशा अपनी मातृभाषा में ही करता है। हृदय से होने वाला सच्चा संवाद अपनी ही भाषा में संभव है। भाषा संस्कृति का प्रतीक भी है और मानव अनुभव का माध्यम भी।”

The event inaugurated with the green welcome of Dr. Arora by, Dr. Ajay Sharma, Principal of GGDSD College and Dr. Rina, convener of the event.

The programme was inaugurated under the auspices of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University featured an insightful address by Prof. Mehraj Uddin, Former Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Kashmir.

Under this initiative, Sh. Jasveer Singh from village Hamidi has emerged as a role model in value addition of milk products after successfully setting up a dairy processing plant.

पीजीजीसीजी-42 के हिन्दी विभाग द्वारा हिन्दी दिवस सप्ताह का समापन समारोह मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ कॉलेज की प्राचार्या प्रो डॉ अनीता कौशल ने किया। इस अवसर पर हिन्दी विभाग की अध्यक्षा डॉ सपना मल्होत्रा ने हिन्दी भाषा के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि हिन्दी केवल हमारी मातृभाषा ही नहीं, बल्कि यह राष्ट्रीय एकता और सांस्कृतिक पहचान का आधार है।

On the initiativeof the Honourable Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh Sh Gulab Chand Kataria, Mentorship programme was started.

During this session, Dr. Reema Gill, Associate Professor, welcomed the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, and briefed him about the two-day program.

The Head of the Department, Dr. Sumita Sikka, thanked Dr. Ajay Sharma for supporting young talent and also praised the participants for their efforts, motivating them to keep pushing the boundaries of fashion styling.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor in his address, highlighted the importance of partnerships that bridge academic knowledge with real-world impact. This MoU will strengthen our efforts in addressing critical challenges related to the environment, health, and sanitation through innovation and collaboration, he stated. Further he added, it also reflects CUH’s vision to contribute meaningfully to societal well-being through academic excellence and practical engagement.
