The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Neena Sharma, Officiating Principal, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to cultivate regular reading habits and make meaningful use of the library’s resources.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, said the 25-year milestone marks an important point in the university’s continuing educational vision, one that now looks beyond building the institution to enabling it to contribute meaningfully to its surroundings Punjab, India and ultimately the world.

Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sofat, Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Punjab Engineering College (PEC) , has concluded his distinguished formal service at the institute after a long and eventful academic career spanning more than three decades.

According to Dr. Sapna Nanda, Principal, Government College of Education, Chandigarh, the institution takes pride in being the only premier government institution in the region offering the M.Ed.
