Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sofat, Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Punjab Engineering College (PEC) , has concluded his distinguished formal service at the institute after a long and eventful academic career spanning more than three decades.

According to Dr. Sapna Nanda, Principal, Government College of Education, Chandigarh, the institution takes pride in being the only premier government institution in the region offering the M.Ed.

GGDSD College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, organised a solemn Prarthana Sabha on August 29, 2026, to commemorate the 27th death anniversary of Revered Late (Dr) Pandit Mohan Lal Ji, former Home, Finance, Industry and Education Minister of Punjab and Founder President of the GGDSD College Society, Chandigarh.

Officiating Principal Ms Neena Sharma appreciated the initiative, stating that the competition provided students with valuable exposure to expert evaluation while strengthening their pitching, communication and problem-solving skills.

Shunglu, Chairman, Delhi Public School Society, in the presence of Ms. Vrinda Sarup, Member, Delhi Public School Society and Chairperson, DPS Shimla.
