Chandigarh, August 25, 2026: The 23-day Usha Multi-Skilled Technician Training Programme concluded successfully today at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Sector 28-C, Chandigarh, with 25 candidates successfully completing the training.

The programme, conducted from August 3 to August 25, 2026, was aimed at equipping youth with industry-relevant multi-skilled technical expertise and enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.

The closing ceremony was attended by Ms. Palika Arora, PCS, Director Technical Education, U.T. Chandigarh, who interacted with the trainees and appreciated their dedication. She highlighted the growing importance of multi-skilled vocational training in meeting the evolving requirements of industry.

As part of the ceremony, Ms. Palika Arora distributed specialised technical training kits to the successful trainees to support them in pursuing their professional journeys.

The Principal, Government ITI, Sector 28-C, senior officials of the institute and representatives of Usha International Ltd. were also present and congratulated the trainees on successfully completing the programme.
