During the visit, the renovation works at the Lake Swimming Pool were reviewed in detail. Various components of the facility were inspected to ensure that the works are being executed as per the prescribed standards and timelines.

Police teams, bomb disposal squads, and fire services were deployed to the affected locations.

Inaugurating the workshop, Er. C.B. Ojha, Chief Engineer, U.T. Chandigarh, emphasized the urgent need to reduce dependence on fossil fuels through innovative technologies and collective action. He highlighted Chandigarh’s vision of becoming a carbon-neutral and net-zero city by 2047 and underlined the proactive role of the Energy Management Cell in driving energy conservation and sustainable development initiatives.
