Addressing the gathering, the Governor said, “Jainism is not adopted by birth but through one’s deeds and conduct. The teachings of Lord Mahavir are as relevant today as they were centuries ago.”

The Governor conveyed a message of humanity, urging people to rise above ego and anger.

.During the meeting, the Governor issued directions to intensify efforts towards the welfare of serving soldiers, ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, widows, and their families.

In his message, Shri Kataria said that Lord Mahavir was an apostle of ahimsa (non-violence), peace, and harmony, and epitomized the spirit of non-violence, universal brotherhood, compassion, and sacrifice.

During her visit, she spent meaningful time interacting with children with intellectual disabilities.
