Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Punjab Governor, Gulab Chand Kataria, at Punjab Lok Bhavan, Chandigarh today.

In a significant step towards ensuring accessible and equitable healthcare services, and with the approval of the Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, the Health Department, Chandigarh Administration, has issued directions for the strict implementation of provisions under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.

Sh. Kataria informed that a detailed proposal for the establishment of the Regional Medical Hub had already been submitted to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on December 30, 2025, and requested its expeditious consideration and approval.

A meeting was convened today under the chairmanship of Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh, to review and streamline the preparations for the upcoming Surya Kiran Air Aerobatic Team Civil Display scheduled to be held at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh on 27th and 28th March 2026.
