The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria joined the national launch from Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, where he called upon the youth to become the driving force behind a drug-free and developed India.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor praised Sankalp IAS for its contribution to mentoring civil services aspirants.

The prizes were distributed by Er. C.B. Ojha, Chief Engineer, U.T. Chandigarh who congratulated the winners and appreciated their valuable contributions towards promoting energy conservation. He emphasized that awareness and behavioural change are key to achieving sustainable energy use.

The meeting was chaired by the Director cum Mission Director, Dr. Palika Arora, PCS , CSDM, department of technical Education under the able guidance of Ms. Prerna Puri, IAS, Secretary Education who underscored the strategic importance of engaging industries as Anchor Industry Partners to foster demand-driven skilling, reskilling and upskilling initiatives aligned with emerging workforce requirements

The Secretary encouraged the girls to actively participate in various vocational training programmes being organized by Chandigarh Red Cross to become financially independent and self reliant.
