PGIMER Advanced Eye Centre Holds Myopia Awareness Week to highlight the rising incidence of Childhood myopia or Near-sightedness

The workshop was conducted by lead trainers Dr Sushma Kumari Saini, Associate Professor at the National Institute of Nursing Education, PGIMER, Chandigarh, and Dr Ashutosh Kumar, Assistant Professor at NIPER SAS Nagar, Mohali.

The entire event was meticulously planned, conceptualized by Prof. Dheeraj Khurana with close collaboration with the NINE (Dr. Sukhpal Kaur, Dr. Manju Dhandapani, and Dr. Kavita N and their dedicated team) ensuring its smooth execution and impactful outcomes

Receiving the award, Prof. Parashar said, “This honour reflects the collective commitment of our entire team at PGIMER. This year, under the leadership of Dr. Sanjay K. Bhadada, Professor & HoD, the Department of Endocrinology conducted an interactive session in the OPD where the doctors from the department discussed the various aspects related to diabetes with the patients in an open forum.
