It is noteworthy that Dr. Neeraj Karan Singh is also serving as the Deputy Dean of Students' Welfare at the Central University of Haryana. He is currently editing a scholarly book on the scientific aspects of the Nagari script. On receiving the honour, Dr. Singh dedicated the award to his parents, teachers, colleagues at the University, and his students, acknowledging their constant support and inspiration in his academic journey

The brainchild of Principal Ms. Monica Chawla, the five-day programme offered students a unique opportunity to strengthen their emotional well-being, creativity, collaboration and leadership through a series of thoughtfully designed experiences.

In his presidential address, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar emphasized that cybersecurity has become an indispensable requirement for every department, institution and educational establishment. Referring to the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence, he stated that while AI offers immense opportunities, it also presents significant challenges. He informed the gathering that the University is planning to introduce AI-related courses across all departments to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills.He stressed that AI should be used as a tool rather than becoming a substitute for human intelligence. Drawing an analogy with weapons, he remarked that technology can be constructive when used responsibly but becomes destructive when misused. He urged young people to understand both the opportunities and the challenges associated with AI and cybersecurity so that they can contribute meaningfully to nation-building. He also welcomed participants from industry, the judiciary, academia and research institutions to the University.

The Technical Sessions were delivered by Dr. Priyanwada Wanigasooriya, Head, Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, Dr. Venkata Rao Pokuri, Librarian and Head, Central Library, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal and Dr Preeti Sharda, Librarian, Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Chandigarh.

Speaking on the theme “Sugam Kar Vyavastha, Sashakt Bharat,” Shri Shubh Chintan highlighted the achievements of GST and its role in strengthening India’s economy. Shri Manish Saxena felicitated Ms. Neena Sharma, Principal of the college, for providing an excellent platform to create awareness about GST and congratulated her for hosting such a meaningful event.

Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor of LPU, stated, "The journey of learning begins long before children enter higher education. The years when young minds become curious, aware, and eager to explore lay the foundation for their future aspirations. When this curiosity is nurtured in the right direction, children gain the confidence to discover their strengths and pursue their passions. At LPU, we believe vacations can become meaningful opportunities for experiential learning. Through these summer programmes, we sought to create an environment where children could explore technology, creativity, culture, and innovation while learning by doing."

The session will be delivered by Prof. Munshi Yadav, Regional Coordinator (NWR), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi for Universal Human Values. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges will preside over.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, stated, "Universities today are expected to do much more than impart education.

Referring to the call of "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhan" given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the LPU campus, Shri Nitin Nabin said that today’s youth connects itself with the spirit of Anusandhan and is actively contributing to the nation's progress through innovation. Shri Nitin Nabin, stressed the need to advance across sectors including research, healthcare, technology and public service to realise the goal of a developed India.
