In his message, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, emphasized the transformative power of sports and stated that the rigorous and often monotonous schedule of a student's academic life needs to be rejuvenated by imbibing sportsmanship, which can only be developed through physical activity.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, stated, “It is a matter of great satisfaction that LPU has been granted the UGC 12(B) status. Since its inception, the university has steadily evolved across all key domains including academics, research, innovation, and sports, guided by a clear vision to revolutionize education in India."
