-Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sapna Nanda, Principal, Government College of Education, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh, the Skill-in-Teaching Committee, under the coordination of Dr. Meena and Ms. Khushi organised a three-day workshop on “The Inclusive Classroom: Bridging Gaps with Audio-Visual Strategies” from 23rd to 25th July, 2026 for the students of B.Ed. Semester III.

Dr. Pavitar Parkash Singh, Senior Dean and Head of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, said, "LPU's vision is to nurture media professionals who value accuracy, credibility, critical thinking, and public interest while embracing emerging technologies and evolving storytelling formats".

The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, Governor of Haryana and President & Chief Patron of Bharat Scouts and Guides Haryana. On the occasion, the Governor presented the Warrant of Appointment to Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar.

Central Universities Act, 2009, to extend the tenure of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar with effect from July 28, 2026, for a period of one year or until the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
