The programme commenced with the welcome of the resource persons, Rajyoga Teacher BK Seema Didi and BK Himanshi Didi of the Brahma Kumaris Organisation, by Principal Dr. Sapna Nanda.

Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma said that the event provided students with a meaningful platform to visualise entrepreneurial opportunities and communicate their ideas effectively through art and design.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by DGP Mr. Ashok Tiwari and DIG Ms. Anjum Ara as the Chief Guests.

Officiating Principal Ms Neena Sharma appreciated the efforts of the Department of Home Science in sensitising and empowering the young participants through creativity, skill development and an entrepreneurial perspective.

The celebrations began with the unfurling of the Tricolour by Principal Ms Monica Chawla, followed by the National Anthem, setting the tone for the day.

The programme commenced with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Sapna Nanda, Principal, welcomed the students and Chief Guest Swami Bhitiharananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Chandigarh.

Officiating Principal Ms Neena Sharma appreciated the initiative and said that empowering women to become active participants in community development is essential for building an inclusive and progressive society.

Officiating Principal Ms Neena Sharma expressed gratitude to the Department of English and Cultural Studies, PU, for collaborating to curate a festival that celebrated not only literature but also the living traditions of music, theatre and storytelling.

Vice Chancellor Professor Tankeshwar Kumar and Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Pawan Kumar Sharma congratulated the women faculty members on the initiative and appreciated their efforts towards environmental conservation.

Welcoming the participants, Dr. Loviraj Gupta, Pro Vice Chancellor, LPU, stated that agriculture is entering a new phase where innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration must work together to create sustainable solutions for farmers and rural communities.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Neena Sharma said that literature has the unique power to connect people, cultures and generations by opening spaces for dialogue, reflection and empathy. She added that this festival is a celebration of that power, bringing together diverse voices and perspectives in an atmosphere of intellectual curiosity and creative expression.

Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma emphasised the importance of holistic development and administrative learning.

Director Education-cum-Senior Principal, Mrs Vineeta Arora along with the members of the Interact Club inaugurated the installation of a bottle-shaped plastic collection bin under Project Shuddhi.
