CHANDIGARH:19.02.23- Kendriya Arya Sabha organized Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Janmotsav in Arya Samaj, Sector 7B, Chandigarh. HR Gandhar, Vice President, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi attended the event as the chief guest. DAV and Arya educational institutions of Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Ropar, Derabassi and Surajpur participated in large numbers. Dr. Jagdish Shastri said that may God enable us to do yoga and well-being. The meaning of yoga is to join means to grow.

Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati ji searched for the attainment of Jagatpati Shiva. He was successful in his achievement. For this the practice of Ashtanga Yoga is necessary. Acharya Ranvir Shastri said that the first law of creation is gravity. As long as the younger ones are attracted to the elders, the family will run smoothly. He said that the age of the sea is till the sacrifice of the rivers will continue to fall in it. Veda Vidya will remain as long as the sacrifice of scholars will continue to be in it. Acharya Puneet Acharya said that due to awareness, curiosity arises in the mind. Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati ji had curiosity towards God. He had deep faith in God and in the Vedas. Reading the scriptures of sages is like diving into the ocean to find pearls. Just as the Sun illumines the whole universe, similarly the Vedas also illumine the whole universe. Surendra Gulshan presented bhajans. Students of DAV Senior Secondary School Surajpur presented a short skit based on the life of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. The people present in the program appreciated it a lot.

Kendriya Arya Sabha President Ravinder Talwar thanked the dignitaries present. On this occasion Principal RC Jeevan, Madhu Behl, Lalita Talwar, Prakash chander Sharma, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Pawan Paul, Dharamveer Batra, Dr. Ajay Gupta, Pooja Prakash, Monika Paliwal, Dr. Rosie Sharma, Yograj Chowdhary, Vishal Khanduja, Principal Pawan Sharma, Shri Om Bhardwaj, Ashok Arya etc. were also present. Educational institutions and Arya Samaj who gave excellent presentation in tableaux were also honoured. Principals and teachers of schools and colleges were also attended the programme. Rishi Langar was distributed at the end of the programme.
