G20 meetings and international matches are now being held in Kashmir; opposition’s attacks will fail: Anil Vij
Chandigarh, October 25 — Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that on October 30, the INDI bloc’s mock parliament will pass only a mock resolution, and no action is taken on a mock resolution. He also attacked former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah over his statement, saying, “Farooq Abdullah ji’s character is already well known to the people of the country; he loves Pakistan more than India.” Taking a dig at the opposition, he said, “Some deluded souls keep trying to attack this again and again, but none of their strikes will succeed.”
Sh. Vij was responding to questions from media persons today.
Attacking the opposition, he said that these are deluded souls because the people of the country have rejected them across the nation. He said that to keep themselves alive among the public, the opposition wants to prove that some issue or some company is still alive by putting it on an oxygen cylinder.
Responding to a question regarding Farooq Abdullah’s statement that India’s intentions towards Kashmir are not right, he said, “Farooq Abdullah ji’s character is already well known to the people of the country; he loves Pakistan more than India.”
He said that as far as Kashmir is concerned, Kashmir belongs to India, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government abrogated Article 370, which had been imposed there by the Congress, thereby ending its special status. He said that today Kashmir is as much a part of India as Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, and Kashmir and its people have welcomed this.
Vij said that G20 meetings are now being held in Kashmir. Similarly, international-level matches are also being organised in Kashmir, but some deluded souls keep trying to attack this again and again; however, none of their strikes will succeed.

Energy Minister Anil Vij’s jibe — “The Congress rally under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership is a way of mourning the loss of 99 elections.”
“The massacre of Sikhs took place in Delhi on November 1, in which several Congress leaders were involved. Holding a rally on that very day should be reconsidered: Anil Vij.”
“Farooq Abdullah’s body lives in India, but his soul lives in Pakistan — Anil Vij.”
Chandigarh, October 25 — Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, took a dig at the Congress’s rally in Delhi on November 1 over alleged “vote theft,” saying that after losing across the country, this is their way of mourning. He said, “When there is a death in someone’s home, they observe mourning for 13 days. Under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, the Congress has lost 99 elections, so this is their way of mourning.”
While interacting with media persons today, he said that from the kind of protests the Congress has held in Delhi recently, it is clear that they want to spread anarchy in the country. “Every party has the right to form its own government, and in a democracy, the way to do so is by winning through voting. I would advise the Congress to go among the people, point out the shortcomings of our government, and if people then vote for them, they can form their own government. Governments have changed before too; during Congress rule, people formed a BJP government—was there vote theft then as well?”
Energy Minister Anil Vij said that “This is merely a way of making noise. I believe that the kind of actions the Congress is taking show that it wants to spread anarchy in the country. On November 1, the day the massacre of Sikhs took place in Delhi, in which several Congress leaders themselves were involved—and before that, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated on October 31—holding such a large rally in Delhi on November 1 is something they should reconsider. It is the festive season; traders will suffer losses worth several thousand crores. They can hold the rally ten days later.”
“Farooq Abdullah’s body lives in India, but his soul lives in Pakistan — Anil Vij.”
Farooq Abdullah had said that Kashmiris have only “survived” because Pakistan keeps raising the issue on every international platform—otherwise, India’s intentions toward them are not good. Responding to this, Vij said that, “Farooq Abdullah’s body lives in India, but his soul lives in Pakistan. His character is already exposed before the people of the country; he loves Pakistan more than India. As far as Kashmir is concerned, Kashmir belongs to India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has abrogated Article 370, which the Congress had imposed there. Today, Kashmir is an integral part of India, just like Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. He wants to make it clear that even today, if some people have Kashmir in their minds—as seen in the slogans and posters put up at Jamia—such people will have to be treated.”
