Chandigarh, August 16: The Shravani Upakarma & Ved Prachar Ceremony organized at Arya Samaj, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh, concluded ceremoniously today. The four-day event, held from August 13 to 16, featured Vedic propagation, spiritual discourses, devotional bhajans, and meaningful discussions on various aspects of social and moral life. Devotees and members associated with Arya Samaj participated enthusiastically in the programme.

Speaking as the chief speaker at the concluding session, Acharya Ankit Prabhakar said that a person's behaviour and personality do not develop suddenly; rather, family, society and the Acharya's values play an important role in shaping them. A person learns a great deal from the environment around him.

Acharya Ankit Prabhakar said that one should accept the good advice of elders and experienced people, but it is essential to keep one's intellect alert and discerning. Following an Acharya's appropriate guidance is a good thing, but one must also clearly refuse to participate in any wrong action. People should maintain contact with experienced and senior persons for proper guidance and advice.

President Ravindra Talwar said that such programmes are not merely limited to religious activities; they also inspire individuals to reflect upon their lives, conduct and social responsibilities. Arya Samaj is continuously working to take the message of the Vedas to the masses while promoting good conduct, awareness and a sense of responsibility in society.
Secretary Prakash Chandra Sharma said that values are a person's greatest asset. Good values received from parents and Acharyas continue to guide an individual throughout life. He said that to strengthen society, every individual should understand his responsibilities and play a positive role.

Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma said that the message of the Vedas guides human life towards truth, wisdom, duty and good conduct. He said that one should learn from the experience of Acharyas and senior citizens, but in every situation, it is essential to distinguish between right and wrong through an alert and discerning mind. Such programmes play an important role in nurturing the younger generation into value-based, wise and responsible citizens.
