CHANDIGARH, 04.05.26-04.05.2026 -The Department of Anatomy at PGIMER, Chandigarh, successfully hosted a three-day CME and workshop titled ‘Basics of Immunohistochemistry for Translational Research,’ held from April 28 to 30, 2026. The workshop, which was conducted with an aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and bench side applications was attended by more than 40 delegates from premiere institutes of the country.The workshop focused on optimization, troubleshooting and recent advances in the field of immunohistochemistry with special emphasis on its translational application. All the participants had full hands-on experience on wet-lab sessions and had great experience.The course included step by step exposure to the procedure at individual wet-lab station, didactic lectures and demonstrations. The event ensured that the delegates returned to their respective institutes equipped with the skills to enhance diagnostic accuracy and research quality in their respective areas of research interest. The workshop was supported by the National Academy of Medical Sciences and Anatomical Society of India.
