Chandigarh, 11.04.26-: Maharishi Dayanand Public School, MDAV Bhawan, Daria, Chandigarh organized a program to mark the beginning of the new academic session with Vedic chanting and a sacred yajna in an atmosphere filled with devotion and enthusiasm.
On this occasion, Vedic scholar Acharya Amitesh Shastri conducted the yajna and acquainted the students with the deeper meanings of the mantras. In his address, he stated that dharma is the fundamental basis for the development of education.
The school’s patron, Dr. Sarita Mehta, blessed the students and wished them a bright future. She emphasized the importance of hard work, determination, and the preservation of Indian cultural values. Highlighting the significance of the yajna, she said that it is not only a means of spiritual upliftment but also helps in environmental purification.
The school Principal, Dr. Vinod Kumar, motivated the students and instructed the teachers to work with dedication for the holistic development of students while following the guidelines of the Education Department.
On this occasion, Vice Principal Anju Modgil welcomed all the present guests and extended her best wishes for the students’ bright future. At the end of the program, prasad was distributed among everyone. The school’s patron NRI Sudarshan Garg, Chairman Ravinder Talwar, and mentor Prem Vij also conveyed their blessings to the students.
