Chandigarh, 21 March 2026:The All India Civil Services (AICS) Yogasana Championship 2025–26, organized by the Sports Department, Chandigarh Administration at the Table Tennis Hall, Sports Complex, Sector-23, Chandigarh, under the aegis of the Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB), New Delhi, concluded successfully today.

The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation of approximately 350 players from various State Secretariats and Regional Sports Boards (RSBs) across the country, showcasing high standards of discipline, flexibility and competitive spirit.

The closing ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Sh. Akhil Kumar, DANICS, Additional Secretary, who congratulated the participants and appreciated the efforts of the organizers. He declared the championship formally closed and encouraged all participants to continue promoting fitness and Yogasana in their respective departments.

Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr. Mahender Singh, Joint Director Sports, Chandigarh Administration; Ms. Neeva Singh, Convenor, CCSCSB; and Dr. Bhagwant Singh, IYA, Sports Department.

The championship, held from 17th to 21st March 2026, concluded on a successful note, highlighting the growing prominence of Yogasana as a competitive sport among government employees.
