Chandigarh, 14.03.26-: The Chamber of Chandigarh Industries (CCI) organized its 30th annual blood donation camp under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at the Community Centre in Industrial Area Phase-1, Chandigarh. The camp was inaugurated by Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh. A total of 233 units of blood were collected during the camp.
The event was led by the Chamber’s office bearers, including President Surinder Gupta, Vice President Naveen Manglani, General Secretary Arun Goyal, and Chairman of the Blood Donation Camp Committee Rajwant Singh.
Employees from various industrial units, including women participants, enthusiastically took part in the camp. The blood donation drive was organized in collaboration with the PGI Blood Bank Society. Donors were presented with tokens of appreciation, gifts, and a special nutritious meal.
Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria appreciated the Chamber’s efforts in supporting industry while also fulfilling social responsibilities. Several dignitaries were present on the occasion, including Saurabh Joshi, Mayor of Chandigarh, Sanjay Tandon, local Congress president H. S. Lucky, and BJP president Jatinder Malhotra.
