MAHENDERGARH, 19.02.26-The School of Law at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, marked a significant milestone in its academic journey with the formal launch of the brochure for its first National Moot Court Competition. The brochure was officially unveiled by Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, CUH, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice-Chancellor; Prof. (Dr.) Suneel Kumar, Registrar; and Prof. Pardeep Singh, Dean, School of Law.
On this occasion Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar emphasized the indispensable role of moot court competitions in holistic legal education. He observed that national-level moots offer students an invaluable platform to hone courtroom advocacy skills, deepen legal research abilities, and cultivate critical legal reasoning. "Such initiatives are instrumental in shaping competent, confident, and socially responsible legal professionals," he stated, reaffirming CUH's dedication to academic excellence and practical training.
Prof. Pardeep Singh, Dean, School of Law, shared his vision for the event, remarking that the launch of the first National Moot Court Competition reflects the School's resolve to promote experiential learning and foster excellence in legal education at the national level. He extended a warm invitation to law students across the country to participate and benefit from this enriching academic endeavour.
The National Moot Court Competition is scheduled to be held as a two-day event on March 28 and 29, 2026, at the Department of Law, Central University of Haryana. The launch of the competition reaffirms CUH's continued commitment to strengthening practical legal training and creating meaningful academic platforms for aspiring legal professionals from across the nation.
