Chandigarh/Panchkula, 14.02.26-: A magnificent and vibrant procession was organized in Panchkula to commemorate the 202nd birth anniversary of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, spreading the message of Vedic culture, social harmony, and reform. The event was jointly organized by the Kendriya Arya Sabha of Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Mohali, with active support from Arya Samaj and Arya educational institutions.
The procession commenced from Arya Samaj (The Gurukul School), Sector-20, and passed through various parts of the city before concluding at Arya Samaj, Sector-9. The event featured beautifully designed tableaux portraying Dayanand Saraswati’s life, Vedic traditions, and contributions to social reform. Students captivated the audience with Vedic chants, patriotic songs, cultural performances, classical dance, yoga demonstrations, skating displays, and lively band presentations.
The celebration highlighted his timeless ideals of truth, Vedic teachings, social equality, women’s education, patriotism, and human welfare. The procession witnessed enthusiastic participation from Arya Samaj members, dignitaries, students, and devotees.
President of Kendriya Arya Sabha, Ravinder Talwar, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all institutions, authorities, and citizens for their valuable support in making the event a grand success.
