“Mughals and British Were Foreigners; We Are Sons of This Soil — Congress Has a Foreign DNA Created Through British Appeasement” – Energy Minister Anil Vij

On Tariff Dispute, Anil Vij Says: Modi Has Strong Global Relations; India Is Not Affected by One Country’s Obstruction, Multiple Trade Routes Opened

“The Farce of Rahul Gandhi Has Been Exposed; People Rejected Him Decisively in Bihar Elections” – Anil Vij

“Surjewala Should Come Out of His Dream World and Stay Alert” – Vij

“Kharge Has Forgotten the Days When Congress Bloodied Democracy and Ran Governments Through Governors” – Anil Vij

Chandigarh, January 25 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, launched a sharp counterattack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement comparing the BJP’s future to that of the Mughals and the British. Sh. Vij said that Rahul Gandhi lacks basic knowledge of history. “The Mughals and the British were foreigners, and that is why they left this country. The Bharatiya Janata Party, however, is born from the soil of this nation. It represents India’s culture, knowledge and its people. When Rahul Gandhi makes such statements, he is effectively abusing the people of this country,” Sh. Vij asserted.

While intracting with media persons today, Sh. Vij said that “This country belongs to us, and we belong to this country. If anyone is going to disappear, it is the Congress, because Congress itself is a foreign-origin party. It was founded in 1885 by a Britisher, A.O. Hume, to serve British interests. The party is steadily declining and whatever little remains will also soon vanish.”

Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is silently watching as the United States imposes a 50 percent tariff on textile exporters, Sh. Vij said that Prime Minister Modi anticipates challenges in advance and prepares solutions accordingly. “Prime Minister Modi has opened trade routes with nearly 100 countries, and this achievement is clearly visible. India today has strong diplomatic and trade relations across the world. An obstacle created by one country does not affect India’s growth,” he said.

Countering Rahul Gandhi’s claims of vote theft, Sh. Vij said that the entire drama staged by him has been exposed. “Not a single allegation has been proven true. Rahul Gandhi did not even file a written complaint with the Election Commission because he had no facts to support his claims. The public also did not believe him,” he stated. He added that ahead of the Bihar elections, Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of vote theft during his padyatra, but the people rejected his narrative outright and voted him out decisively. “His condition has worsened because lies ultimately collapse under their own weight,” he remarked.

Reacting to Congress leader Randeep Surjewala’s allegation that illegal mining is taking place with the backing of the BJP, Sh. Vij said that Surjewala often mistakes dreams for reality. “He still sees in his dreams the massive environmental destruction that occurred during Congress rule, when rivers were dug 40 feet deep and hills and riverbeds were mercilessly exploited. Today, the BJP government has imposed strict restrictions, and even the Supreme Court has taken a firm stand on the Aravallis. Surjewala needs to stay awake and face reality,” he said.

Responding to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s claim that the government is turning Governors into puppets, Sh. Vij said that Congress leaders have conveniently forgotten their own past. “They forget the days when Congress repeatedly imposed Article 356, brutally undermined democracy, toppled elected governments, and ruled through Governors. It was Congress that treated Governors as puppets. Under our government, constitutional institutions function with full dignity and respect,” Sh. Vij asserted.
