Chandigarh, January 19:Due to important maintenance work at Kajuali Phase-V & VI under GMADA, including replacement of a 1000 mm diameter PSC pipeline with an MS pipeline for supply of clear water from Water Works, Sector-32, a shutdown of water supply is proposed on 20.01.2026 and 21.01.2026.
Accordingly, the water supply schedule in Chandigarh during the above period will be as under:
20.01.2026
Morning: 03:30 AM to 09:00 AM – Water supply at normal pressure
Evening: 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM – Water supply at low pressure
21.01.2026
Morning: 03:30 AM to 09:00 AM – Water supply at normal pressure
Evening: 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM – Water supply at low pressure
Residents are requested to make necessary arrangements in advance and cooperate with the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh during this period of essential maintenance work.
