Ludhiana 17 December 2025-Dr. Randhir Singh of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana has been conferred the distinguished De- Facto Specialist Certification (Diplomate) by the Asian Society of Veterinary Clinical Dermatology (ASVCD) during its Seventh Continental Conference held in Bangkok, Thailand. This distinguished credential recognizes exceptional clinical acumen, sustained scholarly contribution and demonstrated leadership in the rapidly evolving discipline of comparative and companion animal dermatology, alongside his recognized expertise in veterinary hemodialysis and extracorporeal therapies, which significantly broaden his translational clinical profile.

The conference, attended by eminent dermatologists and clinician-scientists from South Korea, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia and several other nations, served as a platform for high-level scientific exchange and cross-continental collaboration. Dr. Singh was also nominated as the Vice-President of ASVCD-India during the executive council meeting, an appointment that underscores Vet Varsity’s influence in shaping dermatological standards, translational research and regional capacity building within Asia.
