Chandigarh, November 8, 2025:The 17th Tribal Youth Exchange Program, organized by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Chandigarh, concluded successfully today. The program held from 2nd to 8th November 2025 at the Department of Youth Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh, with the objective of promoting national unity, cultural understanding, and personal development among tribal youth from different parts of the country.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Shri Mahendra Singh, Joint Director Sports, Chandigarh Administration, as the Chief Guest. He addressed a gathering of 200 tribal youth participants from Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Jharkhand.
In his inspiring address, Shri Mahendra Singh extended best wishes to all participants for a bright future. He urged the youth to imbibe the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” and to play an active role in the nation’s development. Emphasizing that the youth are the true strength of the nation, he encouraged them to move forward with confidence and determination.
A major highlight of the closing ceremony was the award distribution segment.
Cultural teams and debate winners who showcased outstanding performances during the week-long program were felicitated by the Chief Guest.
Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to explore the educational, technical, and cultural dimensions of Chandigarh, broadening their knowledge and deepening their understanding of each other’s traditions.
Organized by Mera Yuva Bharat, Chandigarh, the program proved to be a significant step toward connecting tribal youth with mainstream development opportunities and nurturing their leadership potential.
