Chandigarh Police arrested Vikas R/o # 2701/3 Sector-49/C, Chandigarh from near Tubewell Turn Sector-49/C, Chandigarh on 02-10-2025 and recovered 40 quarters of Royal General Premium Whisky 180 ML each from his possession. A Case FIR No. 72 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-49 Chandigarh. Later on, the accused was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress

Abetment of Suicide

A Case FIR No. 165 U/S 108 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh on the complaint of Vakil Pathan R/o # 30/8 Near Govt School Khuda Ali Sher Chandigarh against Wasim R/o Ward No. 8 Ferozpur Mewat Haryana who abetment to complainant daughter to committed suicide by hanged herself on her residence on dated 02-11-2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No.63 U/S 303 (2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-19 Chandigarh on the complaint of Mukesh Kumar R/o # 89/B, New Police Line, Sector 26, Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away complainant son bicycle from in front of SCO No. 76 Sector-20, Chandigarh on dated 01-11-2025.Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 96 U/S 117(2), 126(2), 351(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurdev Singh R/o Plot No. 279 Ph-1 Industries/Area, against Adarsh Gupta R/o Booth No. 296 Surendera Steel, Industrial/Area Ph-1 Chandigarh who were beaten to the complainant with wooden sticks near booth no. 296 Industries/Area PH-1, Chandigarh on dated 01-11-2025, victim sustained injuries and admitted in Landmark Hospital Sec-33, Chandigarh.
