Chief Minister inaugurates and lays foundation stone of projects worth Rs. 188 crore in Karsog
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today dedicated projects worth Rs. 188.8 crore to the people of Karsog region. He inaugurated the Combined Office Building constructed at a cost of Rs. 34.25 crore, Subject Matter Specialist Horticulture Office Building constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.67 crore, Panchayat Community Centre Triman constructed at a cost of Rs. 29.51 lakh, beautification work of Mahunag Temple Complex at a cost of Rs. 90.11 lakh, works of Maindhi Gram Panchayat worth Rs. 71.57 lakh, Health Sub Center Bhanthal constructed at a cost of Rs 13 lakh, Gram Panchayat Community Center Sui Kufridhar constructed at a cost of Rs 32.74 lakh and Apna Pustakalay (Library)at Combined Office Building constructed at a cost of Rs 13.75 lakh.
He laid the foundation stone for sewerage system of Karsog and adjoining villages to be completed with an outlay of Rs. 55 crore, up-gradation of Bhakhrot-Karsog-Sanarli-Sainj road at a cost of Rs 31.80 lakh, upgradation of Kheel to Bhagelu road at a cost of Rs. 13.18 crore, upgradation of Kheel to Bhagelu (Kelodhar Garjoob) road at a cost of Rs 19.75 crore, Chhalog to Baghail road at a cost of Rs 11.06 crore and up-gradation work of Kelodhar to Sainj road at a cost of Rs 18.60 crore.

CM inspects preparations for unveiling of Virbhadra Singh’s statue at The Ridge
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inspected the preparations pertaining to unveiling of the statue of former Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh, scheduled for 13th October at the historic Ridge in Shimla.
The Chief Minister issued necessary directions to the officers and instructed them to ensure foolproof security arrangements for the event.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, MLA Harish Janartha, Principal Media Advisor to the Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan, Mayor Surender Chauhan, HIMUDA Vice Chairman Yashwant Chhajta, DC and SP Shimla, Director IPR Rajiv Kumar and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

CM attends grand finale of Himachal Dance Championship – Season 3
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today attended the Grand Finale of Himachal Dance Championship- Season 3, organised by Live Times TV at Gaiety Theatre, Shimla.
Appreciating the organizers, the Chief Minister said that such events provide a required platform for the youth to showcase their talent. He urged the younger generation to stay away from drugs, adding that the State Government is waging a decisive battle against drug abuse and its illegal trade. “We are taking stringent and sincere measures to eradicate this menace from its roots,” he said.
The Chief Minister noted that the youth of Himachal Pradesh are bringing laurels to the State in every field. He encouraged them to keep moving forward with dedication to achieve their goals.
Shri Sukhu expressed confidence that Himachal Pradesh will become the most prosperous State in the country by the year 2032. He added that in the past two years, Himachal Pradesh has emerged as the number one State in several sectors across the nation.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also presented prizes to various participants and winners.
