Chandigarh Police arrested Anil Beniwal R/o # 1512 Sector-15 Panchkula Haryana (age 45 year) who was running immigration office at SCO No. 167-68, 2nd floor Sector-8/C, Chandigarh without any registration and permission and disobeyed the order of DM, UT Chandigarh. One person arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Sunny R/o # 2065/B Small Flat Dhanas Chandigarh age-25 years from Shiv Mandir EWS Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh on 10-06-2025 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 39 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-Sarangpur UT Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested by using fake number plate

Chandigarh police arrested Rajesh Kumar R/o # 231 Singha Devi Colony Vill- Nada District Mohali Punjab (age 50) years from Nayagaon to Khudda Lahora Bridge Road on 10-06-2025 while using fake number plate PB-29AA-0436 on stolen activa (original number HR-03S-3195). In this regard, a case FIR No. 86 u/s 340(2), 341(2), 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-11 UT Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 47 u/s 305 BNS has been registered in Police Station-Industrial Area, UT Chandigarh on the complaint of Harikallikkat Excise & Taxation Commissioner UT Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away stocks from the tank of plot no. 102 Ph-1 Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 29-07-2024 and 2-08-2024 which was sealed by the team of Taxation Department UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 65 u/s 319(2), 318(4),336(3),338,340(2),61(2) BNS has been registered in Police station- Cyber Crime, Sector-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Anil Kumar Sharma R/o # 23/1 Sector-41/A, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant Rs 14.60 lakh regarding investment from 13-01-2025 to 28-02-2025. Investigation of the case is in progress.
