Chandigarh, 05.06.25-The department of Transfusion Medicine conducted blood donation camp on 5thJune 2025 under the guidance of Prof. R.R.Sharma at Zakir Hall, PGIMER, Chandigarh in association with OT Staff Welfare Society under the leadership of Dr.Harshita Aggarwal and collected 70 blood units.
Prof RK Ratho, Dean Academic was the Chief Guest at the event. Pro. Kajal Jain and Prof Babita Ghai, Department of Anaesthesia along with members of the PGI OT staff welfare Society were also present on the occasion.The Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh expresses its sincere gratitude to all its volunteer donors who came forward to donate the blood on the occasion. The donated blood and components help in catering the needs of the critically ill patients in the institute.
