Chandigarh,04.10.20-Federation of Senior citizens Associations Punjab, FEDSEN Pb, Organised a Webinar on 4th October 2020 to celebrate the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF OLDER PERSONS.
Chairman Sh S P Karkara IAS and President Sh H S Mand threw light-on the activities of the FEDSEN & how the federation is keeping the liaison among members and the government authorities during the Period of COVID-19.
The Guest speaker Prof. Vinod Kumar Chaudhary told about the importance of natural foods and told how unhealthy food we are consuming these days. He also told to opt for Ayurveda than allopathy.
The President of Second Inning Association, Sh R K Garg spoke about the problems of Senior Citizens such as mental as well as physical problems. He informed that they can be contacted by any Senior citizen in case of need. He quoted a number of cases where SIA has helped the needy persons.
