Two persons arrested in Theft Case
A Case FIR No 81 U/S 303(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh on the complaint of Manupuri R/o # 111, Sector 27 Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away complainant three front parking sensors, one left rear door handle and one left fender badge from his car no CH01BN -0012 near his house Chandigarh on 10.06.2026. During the investigation the accused Yogesh Kumar R/o # 1065/06 Nayagaon mohali Punjab and Arun R/o # 938 Shinga devi Nayagaon Mohali Punjab were arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Two persons arrested in NDPS Act
Chandigarh Police arrested Harjit Singh Sandhu R/o # Village Nangal Kalan District Mansa Punjab and Krishan R/o # Village Nangal Kalan District Mansa Punjab from near water works colony gate towards Dadu Majra Chandigarh and recovered 6.55 gram heroin (Harjit Singh) and 7.53 gram Heroin (Krishan Singh) total recovered 14.08 gram heroin with plastic pouch from their possession. A Case FIR no 84 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station maloya Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress
Action against Excise Act
Chandigarh Police arrested Vishu R/o # 2377 Sector 27 Chandigarh from back side Tribune Colony Raipur Khurd Chandigarh on 20.06.2026 and recovered 30 nips of royal general whisky, 6 bottles made imperial blue, 1 bottle of royal stage and 2 bottle iconic white from his possession. A Case FIR no 86 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Chandigarh Police arrested Gurpeet Singh R/o #123 Village Gada Bara District Ambala Haryana and Amit R/o # 225 near jawahar lal Nehru park jind road Gohana District Sonipat from back side SCO No 138-139 Sector 40/c Chandigarh on 19.06.2026 and recovered 292 box of multiple brand in mahendra pick no HR46F-1242. A Case FIR no 102 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out.
