Jalandhar, 20.05.26-; Lovely Professional University emerged as the Overall Champion at the All India Inter University Wushu Championship 2026 held in Srinagar, delivering an exceptional. The prestigious championship was organised by the varsity’s Directorate of Physical Education and Sports (DPES) under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities and witnessed participation from thousands of student athletes representing universities from across India.

Demonstrating exceptional discipline, resilience, and sporting excellence, LPU secured a tally 23 medals across both Men’s and Women’s categories, including 8 Gold, 8 Silver, and 7 Bronze medals. The championship featured competitions across 12 weight categories in Men’s Sanda and 10 weight categories in Women’s Sanda, alongside Taolu events in both divisions.
