“Nehru sold land, Indira lost opportunities to reclaim PoK and acquire land near the Chicken’s Neck” – Energy Minister Anil Vij targets Rahul Gandhi over Congress’ historical mistakes

“India is as secure today in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as it has never been before” : Anil Vij

Vij advises Rahul Gandhi – “First read your family’s history, then speak”

“All 6 stanzas of Vande Mataram made mandatory: Energy Minister Anil Vij welcomes the decision, says – Martyrs’ sacrifices have received true respect”

Chandigarh, February 12 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij strongly responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement on the India-US trade deal, saying that after losing elections for the 95th time, Rahul Gandhi has lost his senses. He said that India is as secure today under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as it has never been before. He also said that many freedom fighters sacrificed their lives while singing Vande Mataram, and it has now been given due recognition by making it mandatory to be sung at every government function.

While speaking to media persons today, Sh. Anil Vij advised Rahul Gandhi to learn about his family’s history. He said that Nehru had given away 38,000 square kilometers of land to China. Similarly, after the 1971 war, Indira Gandhi handed over 90,000 prisoners of war (POWs) to Pakistan. If they had wished, they could have negotiated and demanded Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in return. He added that India had liberated Bangladesh during the war. Today, the “Chicken’s Neck” (the narrow corridor connecting India’s northeastern states to the rest of the country) holds great strategic importance. If they had wanted, they could have demanded land above Bangladesh. However, Congress kept making one mistake after another and now wants to shift the blame elsewhere.

“All 6 stanzas of Vande Mataram made mandatory: Energy Minister Anil Vij welcomes the decision, says – Martyrs’ sacrifices have received true respect”

Reacting to the central government’s decision to make it mandatory to play all six stanzas of Vande Mataram at all government functions, schools, and important events, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that it is a very good decision. Vande Mataram, which many freedom fighters sang before sacrificing their lives, has now received proper recognition and has been made mandatory at every government program.

Responding to opposition by an AIMIM leader regarding the song Vande Mataram, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that whenever there is a matter related to national interest, Mr. Owaisi will certainly speak on it. When our revolutionaries, patriots, and martyrs sang it, was it not right then? And has it suddenly become wrong today?

Meanwhile, regarding the nationwide strike call (Bharat Bandh) by trade unions today, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that this is a democracy and everyone has the right to express their views peacefully, and as can be seen, everything is functioning normally.
