CHANDIGARH, 09.12.25-NMIMS Chandigarh Hosts First Leadership Talk with Smt. Keshni Anand Arora, IAS (Retd.)SVKM’s (Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal's)NMIMS Chandigarh hosted the first session of its Leadership Talks series under the Foresight Forum, featuring Smt. Keshni Anand Arora, IAS (Retd.), Former Chief Secretary, Haryana, and Ex-Chairperson, Haryana Water Resources Authority. The event reinforced NMIMS’ commitment to combining academic learning with real-world leadership insights.

The programme began with Saraswati Vandana, followed by Dr. Jyotsna Singh, Campus Director, welcoming and felicitating Smt. Arora. Dr. Singh highlighted NMIMS’ vision of fostering experiential leadership, stating that “leadership is learnt in the field, not just in classrooms.”

Smt. Arora delivered an engaging session on “Lessons on Leadership,” drawing from her four-decade-long career in public administration, including key roles in Haryana’s governance, UIDAI, and e-governance initiatives. Through personal anecdotes—from preparing for Civil Services to managing crises like COVID-19—she underscored the value of integrity, positivity, collaboration, and learning to say “no” when necessary. She also encouraged students to contribute to nation-building rather than joining the trend of brain drain.The interactive Q&A saw students seek advice on anxiety, work pressure, and career challenges, with Smt. Arora offering practical guidance.The session concluded with a token of appreciation and the National Anthem, marking a strong start to NMIMS Chandigarh’s Leadership Talks series.
