Haryana Wins Gold Medal for Clean Pavilion at International Trade Fair Held in New Delhi
Thousands of visitors witnessed glimpses of Haryanvi culture, innovation and development during the 14-day International Trade Fair
Chandigarh, November 29 – Haryana has won the Gold Medal for Clean Pavilion at the International Trade Fair-2025 held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Medals were awarded in different categories at the fair, and Haryana Pavilion clinched the top honour in the Clean Pavilion category.
Providing information, Pavilion Director Anil Chaudhary stated that under the guidance of Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini and the leadership of Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, Chief Administrator Sh. Shyamal Mishra and Administrator Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh, the International Trade Fair was successfully concluded. The 44th International Trade Fair, held from 14th to 27th November for 14 days, saw the Haryana Pavilion become a major centre of attraction for visitors. The pavilion showcased glimpses of Haryanvi culture, ongoing innovation, and development in the state. After the conclusion of the fair, an award ceremony was organized, in which the Haryana Pavilion won the Gold Medal in the Clean Pavilion category. He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, Chief Administrator Sh. Shyamal Mishra and Administrator Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh for this achievement.
Director Anil Chaudhary shared that although several new experiments related to art and culture were presented in the pavilion, this time a new concept called “AI Tau” was introduced. The Tau created through Artificial Intelligence entertained visitors while sharing information about various Haryana Government schemes. It was one of the major attractions of the pavilion. As soon as a visitor pressed the button, AI Tau would stand up and start speaking in typical Haryanvi style.
He informed that different stalls were set up in the Haryana Pavilion. Among them, 11 artisans and Self-Help Groups had set up stalls, while 22 MSMEs displayed their products. These too remained a major attraction for buyers. The Haryana Pavilion was designed on the theme “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat". It also showcased the Surajkund Mela and Geeta Jayanti. Visitors clicked numerous selfies and photographs inside the pavilion and learned more about Haryana.

HSIIDC Launches Atal Shramik Kisan Canteens in IMT Manesar
Chandigarh, November 29: The Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has made the first two Atal Shramik Kisan Canteens at Sector 4 and Sector 5, in IMT Manesar functional. These canteens have started operations from today, marking a major step toward strengthening worker welfare facilities in the region.
A department spokesperson said the HSIIDC has identified a total of five locations in IMT Manesar for the rollout of these canteens. The remaining three locations are currently under development and will be operational in the coming weeks, ensuring wider coverage for the industrial workforce.
The construction of these canteens is being carried out under CSR support from industry partners, and leading industrial associations, reflecting strong industry collaboration toward worker welfare and social upliftment.
The canteens will be run by Self Help Groups (SHGs), ensuring not only efficient management but also providing meaningful employment opportunities to local women and community members.
Under the Government of Haryana’s Atal Shramik Kisan Canteen Scheme, workers will be served a wholesome and hygienic Rs 10 thali, making nutritious food easily accessible and affordable within the industrial estate.
The HSIIDC is committed to continuously enhancing worker-centric infrastructure across its estates, and the launch of these canteens reinforces its mission of inclusive growth and improved quality of life for the industrial workforce.
