Three arrested in Voluntarily causing hurt

A Case FIR No. 136 u/s 118(1), 126(2), 351(3), 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station 39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Naveen Kumar R/o # 3158/8, Sector-41, Chandigarh. The complainant alleged that near Pahari Dhaba, Village Buterla, Sector-41, on 10-11-2025 accused persons Suraj, Pintu, and Sintu, along with others, stabbed him, causing injuries. He was admitted to Max Hospital, Mohali. During the investigation Suraj, Pintu, and Sintu have been arrested. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Mahender Kumar R/o #715/15, BDC Sector-26, Chandigarh from the parking area of Transport Area, Sec-26, Chandigarh on 11-11-2025 and a Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. A Case FIR No. 111 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station 26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A Case FIR No. 172 U/S 281, 125(A) and 106(1) BNS has been registered at Police Station-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sunil Kumar Singh R/o #818, Gali No. 7, Kumao Colony, Naya gaon,SAS Nagar Mohali. On 11-11-2025 a white car No. PB 65 BD 5400 driven by Manpreet Singh R/o Khudda Lohra hit a scooty near Naya Gaon Bridge, causing injuries to Shivam and Manpreet Singh. Manpreet Sing was admitted to GMSH-16 and Shivam was admitted to PGI Chandigarh. During treatment Shivam was brought dead. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No. 75 U/S 303 (2), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station 49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Bhupinder Singh, Range Forest Officer, Chandigarh. The complainant reported that unknown persons cut down 15 nos. of Green Drek trees and stole them from the forest area of Sector-48, Chandigarh on 10-11-2025. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cyber cheating

A Case FIR No. 129 U/S 319(2), 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Cyber Crime Police Station, Chandigarh on the complaint of Harish Jatana R/o #2093, Sec-15/C, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant online investment of ₹13,55,340/-. Investigation of this case is in progress.
