MUMBAI, 15.08.25-The Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Sangrur has been recognized by the Punjab Government for its outstanding implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Mukh Mantri Sehat Bima Yojana, a cashless health insurance scheme.
The award was presented by Minister Sanjeev Arora during Independence Day celebrations.
Hospital Director Dr. Ashish Gulia expressed gratitude for the recognition, affirming the hospital's commitment to serving cancer patients.
The team's hard work was also praised by Director (Administration) Shri Madho Singh.
Established in 2022 by the Tata Memorial Centre, the hospital serves as a regional hub for cancer care, with a 125-bed satellite center in Sangrur.
