CHANDIGARH, 10.07.25-C.L. Aggarwal DAV Model School, Sector 7, celebrated Mango Mela with great enthusiasm. Chief guests Shri Maheshinder Singh Sidhu, Councillor, and Mr. N.K. Jhingan, Secretary, Environment Society of India, inaugurated the event with a symbolic tree plantation. Students from Nursery to Class II performed poems, dances, and songs dressed as mangoes, sharing fun facts about the fruit.
Principal Ms. Jyotika Ahuja thanked all guests and highlighted the importance of blending culture with learning. Other members of the Environment Society also joined and planted saplings, encouraging students toward environmental responsibility and a greener future.
