One arrested drinking at Public place
A Case FIR No. 43 u/s 68-1(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station Industrial Area. Harwinder Singh R/o #1444/5, Sec-29, Chandigarh, Age 29 yrs, was apprehended from parking near Booth No. 51, Sector 29 on 30-05-2025 at about 11:30 PM while drinking and creating a nuisance at a public place. Investigation of the case is in progress.
One arrested under Arms Act
A Case FIR No. 42 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Mani Majra. Varundeep R/o #648, Dera Sahib, Mani Majra UT, Chandigarh, Age 27 yrs, was apprehended from road near Ramleela Manch, Mani Majra on 31-05-2025 at about 8:40 PM. One Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Stabbing/Trespassed
A Case FIR No. 63 u/s 118(1), 333, 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Maloya. Kamal @ Bheem, Sanju @ Kanchha, Suraj @ Kancha, Sahil @ Bread, and Rudhim @ Noni all trespassed into house no. 2899, DMC and stabbed a person namely Vicky on 30-05-2025. The victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GH-16. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident
A Case FIR No. 57 u/s 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector 26 on the complaint of Bachan Singh R/o Vill. Kangri, Teh. Berri Pattan, Distt. Rajauri, J&K, Age 45 yrs. A woman R/o #1522, Sec-42B, Chandigarh, rider of Activa No. CH-01CC-5712, hit the complainant near Grain Market, Sector 26 on 29-05-2025 at about 12:30 PM. The victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GH-16. Investigation of the case is in progress.
